Kayti started Makers and Mutts LLC in the summer of 2022, after being inspired by her many friends and family requesting customized pet themed items for gifts, and for themselves. With the help of her Border Collie, Eevee, her Siberian Husky Rescue, Ellie, and now her recent Labrador Retriever/Belgian Malinois mix Foster Fail, Xena she started a shop to sell customized items to many more pet parents! She also does dog training, daycare, and boarding.

Kayti started fostering dogs through Mitten Mutts Dog Rescue in September 2022. She has had many fosters over the years, all of which have been placed in their forever homes!
